Finance Analyst with Bulgarian Work location: Kraków, Zabierzów (pow. krakowski) Job description : Statutory Reporting – preparation of statutory financial statement, coordination of external audits General Ledger - performing month end closing activities (e.g. accruals, provisions, prepayments, exchange rates calculations, partner billing, etc.) Complete in a timely and accurate manner all assigned activities Understanding the reported numbers for the supported entity and monitoring /challenging values on critical accounts Providing accurate commentaries on significant movements in the period /financial review Cooperate with relevant stakeholders within the Shell Finance Operations organization (Krakow and other FO Centers) as well as stakeholders in Shell business units to deliver good quality accounting and reporting Performing balance sheet reconciliations (Status of Accounts Reporting) Execution of financial controls, ensuring operational and design effectiveness of the controls within areas of responsibility Participate, initiate and lead process improvements Effectively and promptly identifying and resolving problems during month end close as a key to meeting closing deadlines Requirements : Proficient written and spoken level of Bulgarian At least 2 years professional experience in Finance or Accounting University degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent courses with experience Experience in financial statements preparation Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) is desirable Advanced level of English Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work under pressure and time constraints Candidate must possess the ability to work on different tasks concurrently, often with tight deadlines Very good working knowledge of Word, Excel and MS Outlook Experience of using SAP system would be beneficial Number of Vacancies : 1 Benefits of working at Shell: Meaningful work in a company that is universally respected as a truly global energy leader (one of the world’s biggest companies according to Fortune Global 500) Unique opportunity to fulfill your potential with personal and professional development programs Work in a smart and motivated team within a supportive and inclusive culture with strong values Attractive salary and bonuses Complex medical care and individual life insurance Sports programme & facilities e.g. Multisport Benefits Card, vouchers for free time activities Good atmosphere at work and comfortable working environment: own canteen and a few relax rooms Opportunity to participate in social and community projects Shell is an Equal Opportunity Employer
